Pricing

One price to find out whether this is for you — and it comes back to you if it is.

Your initial assessment

£39

45 minutes with an HCPC-registered practitioner. Your history, your medication, what the pain is stopping you doing, and an honest view on whether cold therapy is worth trying for you.

Credited back in full. If you go on to book any of our three programmes, the whole £39 comes off the price. There is no time limit on that and no other condition attached.

No obligation. Plenty of people have the assessment and decide not to go further. Some are advised not to by us.

The three programmes

Which programme suits you is decided at your assessment, with you. Nobody is put on a programme before being assessed.

Programmes do not expire. You book each appointment yourself, within the frequency your practitioner has set.

What is included

  • The session itself, and the practitioner’s time before and after it.
  • Assessment and supervision by an HCPC-registered practitioner at every session.
  • Your record kept up to date at every visit.
  • Short progress reviews by secure link between visits.
  • Your own account, where you can book, move and cancel appointments.
  • A copy of your records whenever you ask for one.

Changing or cancelling an appointment

  • More than 48 hours’ notice

Change or cancel your appointment yourself from your account, no charge.

  • Between 24 and 48 hours

Get in touch and we will move you if we can.

  • Less than 24 hours, or a missed appointment

The session is charged. It is a booked slot with a practitioner in it, and at that notice we cannot usually give it to anyone else.

Your cancellation rights

If you booked and paid online, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You do not need to give a reason.

  • If you have not had any sessions yet, you get all your money back.
  • If you asked us to start within those 14 days and you have had some sessions, we deduct a proportionate amount for what you have had and refund the rest.
  • Tell us in writing — email is fine.

If you booked and paid in the clinic, the 14-day right does not apply, because that is not a distance contract.

After the 14 days. We do not refund sessions you have paid for and not used. Programmes do not expire, so there is no deadline by which you have to use them.

If something goes wrong. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 we must provide our service with reasonable care and skill. If we do not, you are entitled to have it put right, or to a price reduction. That right is not affected by anything on this page.

Is it worth £39?

That is a fair question when the evidence for cold therapy is as mixed as we say it is on our evidence page.

Here is the case for it. You get 45 minutes of undivided attention from a registered clinician who will take a proper history, go through your medication, and give you a straight answer — including no. If the answer is yes, the £39 disappears into your first programme. If it is no, you have spent £39 finding out from someone with no reason to string you along, rather than several hundred on a programme that was never going to suit you.

Start with an assessment

Forty-five minutes, £39, credited back in full against your first programme. No obligation to book anything further — and if your practitioner does not think this is right for you, he will say so.
